Eager to acquire musical knowledge and encouraged by the family, It was during the preliminary stages of elementary education that he began playing Tonbak under the supervision of Hamidreza Zarei. It was not until completing the introductory-to-advanced studies of Majid Hesabi and Bahman Rajabi that he decided to pursue classical music. Soon after obtaining the basic understanding and preliminary techniques, which took him about three years of studying under three different instructors, Bardia had the privilege of meeting maestro Siavash Zahireddini in Tehran, Iran, to learn from his expertise in playing the classical violin for about two years. Bardia was offered a training position at the age of 16, through which, he was mainly focused on youth and adolescent students.
